Manager Logistics (Supply Order Management Lead) – Zeebrugge

As a Manager Logistics (Supply & Order Management Lead), at the Caterpillar Equipment Processing Center (EPC) in Zeebrugge, you will play a vital role in driving operational order and supply efficiencies and processes for a growing number of machines prepped in one of our facilities for shipment to our customers. You will be responsible for the management of all incoming orders, supply replenishment, inventory management, compliance processes, and supply governance.


  • Provide day-to-day management and supervision to Supply & Order Management Team (Belgium & India)
  • Own and further implement continuous supply improvement projects
  • Drive standardization and communication of supply processes across regions leveraging global resources (including setting up a governance process).
  • Own cycle count process to ensure all process partners are meeting Caterpillar’s requirements in support best in best-in-class inventory record accuracy, material delivery, and disposition.
  • Creation of supply governance and supplier management processes, own supply metrics including supplier performance. (Includes disruption management)
  • Participate in Systems Technology Council enabling EPC system improvements across different teams, acts as an SAP, Salesforce, and PowerBI local super-user (Solve level 1 issue resolution), and prioritizes system enhancements/support SAP Roll-out & and new functionalities
  • Participates in Product Group / 3PL Supply communications
  • Develop product-specific supply / Order insights Dashboards (Including scalable supplier performance dashboards
  • Lead EPC Compliance function including business resources liaison, SOX Compliance governance reporting, and Customs workbook
  • Support Project Team on New business development



  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in business management, supply chain engineering, or the equivalent of min 3-5 years of experience in supply chain & logistics. Demonstrated leadership in operations management is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, proficient in building collaborative and trusted partnerships to work across an internal matrix organization and external providers – excellent active listening skills.
  • Strong process management, problem-solving, and analytical/critical thinking skills.
  • Good understanding and interest in expanding knowledge, learning, and using different technologies tools (Excel, PowerBI, SAP, Salesforce), hands-on experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity – Excellent problem solver – inquisitive, solution-focused, engaged in “peer to peer” support.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, acting with integrity in tough and emotive situations; able to mediate and reach consensus within a group environment.
  • Capacity to sets priorities and establish a work plan with an ability to adapt to a changing environment.
